WTF?
Any major steps by the Bush administration to control air pollution or reduce emissions of heat-trapping gases came to a dead end on Friday, the combined result of a federal court ruling and a decision by the head of the Environmental protection Agency.
The E.P.A. has said this plan Bush was making had fatal flaws for regulating the heat trapping gasses like carbon dioxide. Stated that it would be an expanision of the authority it has. Well i really dont want our planet DIEING! so expand your authority.
Stehpen Johnson relayed his message he has been trying to get across for months that they do not intend to impose on any controls on emmisons that can cause climate change. Bushs admidistation was attacked by saying that they have not reduced any air pollution so far.The main debate is wheater these gases are harming our health or not. Besides that fact I think any progress or ideas considering controlling pollution and clean air should stay firm.

Annies first intention was to become a painter but after being introduced to photography she changed to that medium. Her first commercial job was at Rolling Stone. Annie shot the 6 month concert tour of the Rolling Stones and
was also praised for her photographs of Olympians in 1996 at the Summer Games. I think Annies work is very bold and expressive, her portraits are beautiful.

Richard Avedon an American Photographer beginning his career in
1942 as taking identification pictures for the
Merchant Marines. he used his Rolleiflex that was given to him by his father In 1944 he began working as an advertising photographer for a department store but was quickly discovered by Alexey Brodovitch, the art director for the fashion magazine Harpers Bazaar. In 1946 Avedon set up his own studio producing work for Vogue and Life. Avedon used emotion in his photographs unlike the norm of fashion being emotionless and indifferent to the camera he really changes the idea of fashion photograph and fine art.

I love the look of old photography thats why August caught my eye I think its purely natural and to have them in a work setting gives you no illusion.
